Bio
F.D. Brake (Frederick Douglas Brake) I am just another traveler on this journey we call life. For over thirty years I have had the good fortune to be married to the most incredible woman. She has encouraged and inspired me to write down and share my thoughts, when I thought no one would care or understand or relate to anything I would have to say. If my thoughts in any way bring any value to this world I thank her for seeing some good in me and encouraging me to share what I have learned. I was born and raised in Philadelphia PA I now reside in Cary NC. I have had many jobs on this journey, the one's that left a lasting impression were the US Marine Corps, working with violent aggressive patients at a mental Institution, and US Postal Worker (yes I've experienced a lot of working with crazy). My favorite jobs are being pop-pop to my grandchildren, father to my children and husband to Darlene. I have been amazed by the many unexpected things I have seen and done (like write poetry).
