An experienced Urban and Regional Planner, Lecturer of Cities and Urbanization at the University of Florida, and a Social Entrepreneur.
Founder and Managing Director of Delphi Urban Planning consultants, and a member of the American Planning Association.
Worked as a UN-Habitat advisor in the MENA region, and is involved in many planning and capacity building projects in Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Sudan and Yemen.
Co-founded The Mission Project, which provided micro-funds for over 200 Jordanian women in marginalized areas, enabling them to establish and sustain businesses through professional training and monitoring.
Currently a Ph.D. candidate of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Florida (UF), focusing on economic development, city dynamics, social disparities and inequality. Awarded the International Student Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2019.
Teaching Instructor as well as a key member in many research labs at UF, working on different innovative projects, such as UrbSys Lab, Shimberg Center for Housing Studies, and the Center for International Design and Planning.
In 2018, led one of “Puerto Rico Re-Start” Project teams, this international team was in charge of Housing and Informalities planning post hurricane Maria, which devastated the island the previous September.
The youngest member to be joining the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation alongside UNDP team, preparing Jordan Response Platform for the Syria Crisis (JRPSC) which constitutes the strategic partnership mechanism for the development of a comprehensive refugee, resilience-strengthening and development response to the impact of the Syria crisis on Jordan.
