My academic career started in Faculty of Law at Erzincan University as a graduate assistant and later as an assistant professor.
My first degree is in Faculty of Law at Marmara University, İstanbul. I gained Postgraduate from the Administrative Law and PhD degrees from the Public Law Department at Gazi University, Ankara.
My International academic career started at the Wright State University, Ohio, USA. I have spent a significant part of my early academic career in Ankara where I taught at Gazi University. I also had the privilege to serve as a visiting scholar Public Administration, MPA at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA.
My academic career took me to several cities across many continents such as İstanbul, Erzincan, Ankara~Turkey and Dayton, Ohio~USA. This is reflected in my research, teaching and consulting interests.
My primary research and teaching interests are good governance principles, including accountability, democratic participation, human rights, ethical behavior, fairness, equity and transparency. I had teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and lectures administrative law, public law, and environmental law.
