Over the last decade there has been a steady rise in the number of transnational marriages & relationships, international surrogacy arrangements and the international relocation of children. Everyone operating in this brave new world, where international family disputes have increasingly become the norm, need to understand the complexities involved in dealing with modern day cross-jurisdictional matters.
The aim of the International Family Law Club is to raise awareness of international family law issues and talk about how they intersect with other issues like immigration, tax and succession.
Many of our members are Fellows of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). We welcome professionals from other family law organisations & related disciplines from around the world. 📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘📘 Recommended Reading. Family Law: a Global Guide (the Blue Book), Thomson Reuters (5th Ed.2021), the seminal comparative guide to international family law, is a powerful tool which every international family lawyer should be using. “The simple, step-by-step, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction approach adopted by the Blue Book provides a foundation upon which all family lawyers can navigate this ever-changing landscape.” Marlene Moses President IAFL 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
