Picked up paintbrush in 1998 at age 40. Itâs Never Too Late.
Quit 23-year NYC corporate job on 9/11/01 and became a tenacious entrepreneur who knew NOTHING about business but was passionate about my newfound hobby of art and decorative painting. Have since won âBest Artist of Long Islandâ seven times.
Just as passionate 20 years later and hoping to crush it online to sell my art AND teach others how to paint and find comfort in art.
Went live every night on FB @ArtbyDebbieViola to paint and chat for 6+ months during lockdown. Still getting thank you messages for reducing their stress and anxiety with my âcalming voiceâ, and helping them through their grief, as well as put them to sleep. Makes me realize one person CAN have an impact. Have since cut back to 4 nights a week
