Bio

I am in my second career in life as a volunteer advocate working toward access and inclusion in all forms. I advocate for disability Access as well as social equity in all forms. I am an avid reader of fiction and nonfiction, mysteries as well as action adventure books. I enjoy respectful conversations about politics and social issues. Liberal theology and faith are also important to me, but I do not proselytize. I just share ideas and positive conversation. 🦮🏳️‍🌈✝️
I hold A bachelor of Arch degree and both political science and sociology. And a Masters degree in rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling. I have an extensive work history working in the private sector public sector and with nonprofit organizations. I have work with the lighthouse essential Florida, as a board member and steering committee member. I served as a rehabilitation specialist and as a mental health counselor for a private psychiatry and mental health practice I served as a senior rehabilitation specialist counselor for the Florida division of blind services.
After retiring from competitive employment, I have retired due to a none work related injury. I spend my days providing volunteer case management services for individuals and doing advocacy work partnering with public sector and private sector organizations. I also provide independent advocacy service for individuals with and without disabilities.e
