Time you hear
A sound
It shakes when you
feel a
Feeling
It whispers inside you

Sweet summer
Beautiful birds chirping
Filling my ears
Before the late night
Is replaced by dawn’s early
Light
And continue on and
One
Oddly
As I’m dressed for winter
In a building so chilling
Yet outside
The heat is so sweltering
Relying on heartwarming
Moments to be my
Happy place
While information
Fills my headspace
Experiencing a moment
By moment
Paradox
In the past
It wouldn’t be a big deal
If you didn’t
Retain it all
Yet in this moment
The pressure to get it done
Fights what I must retain
For its life or death
Or hefty fines
For overlooked mistakes
Wondering if I will regret
This moment’s break
In the future
When I’m just paging through
The information
With the look of death
And chilling eye rolls
What is the cost?
The price to pay?
emotions, to get them
Happily On their way?
Or a little time now
to save them time
in the long run
