🩺 Physician burnout/moral injury is foolishness—society shouldn’t destroy its caretakers. Given my software engineering and product development background, I’d like to make progress on this but don’t know what’s needed. Let me know if you do.
🔬🧬⚕️Currently working on Causal Discovery in medicine/etiology, particularly through causal inference on observational data, assisted hypothesis generation/plausibility estimation, and automated RCT design, as well as advancing formal single-subject (‘n of 1’) methods. The near goal is to test/increase the evidentiary basis of clinical interventions for newer approaches, like integrative medicine, including with wearables. The long goal is to automate medical discoveries and their personalized applications, particularly toward systemic and preventive approaches, so doctors can be humans healing humans with the best possible (and expanded) science and machines the grunt-work-doers.
