DaNiro Elle is a transdisciplinary artist and filmmaker that uses the body as the main material in her work. With an artistic foundation set in film, movement, and sculpture, Da’Niro Elle’s work often takes form as large scale multimedia projects. Da’Niro Elle’s artistic practice at its root is based in her continued exploration of the multidimensional black experience, the human form & sexuality, starting with her own body and narrative. She received her BFA focused in, Film, Sculpture, & Performance from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Da’Niro Elle to date has shown work at The Museum of Modern Art, The Brooklyn Museum, The Gene Siskle Theater, Golden Thread Gallery, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Mana Contemporary, Wright State University & University of Dayton.
Currently based in Brooklyn NY.
