Description

MANTRAS is a progressive safe space for POC in the poetry community to engage, converse, network, co-work, and share gems and resources around working and creating as a poet. We hold weekly discussions on creative processes, poetry business moves, branding best practices, social media growth, product creation and ways to build income with your art.


Nominate poets that you think could benefit from learning about applying for grants, poetry business practices, merchandise and more.
One Mic: Respect is crucial in our space. We don’t talk over each other or cut each other off. Always allow the speaker to finish their thought. Before you speak ask the previous speaker if they are finish.
Be Respectful: Swearing is allowed but never at someone. Anyone engaging with the space using anti-black, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, and homophobia language will be removed room. Respect folx pronouns!
It’s All Love: This club is founded on community, open community, meaning everyone is welcome no matter their identity. If you are responding to someone always respond to what was said and not the person.
