The space for those who love all things about #Jamaican #Music ( including #Reggae , #Dancehall , #Ska & the new diverse genre & sound we will call #Yardgrooves )
On #Clubhouse, Yardgrooves aims to explore all facets of the music with in depth discussions that dissect, critique and document the past, present and future state of Jamaican music.
We will educate one another on the glorious past richness of this great music, striving to connect the dots while bridging the gaps that currently exist; all with one mission : to make for a better, brighter & solid future for the industry.
#Reggae, #Dub, #Dancehall and #Ska have now become the foundation of so much of today's most popular music. It took the world 55+ years to fully embrace it all !!
With a mixture of interviews, weekly discussions, listening parties and daily music reports, we hope to create a proper space where everyone interested can enrich their lives by getting a deeper understanding and appreciation of what this music truly represents and it's massive impact and potential as a global cultural giant.
