Harm Reduction works is a safe space for people to come that want to learn more about harm reduction, stigmatizing language, person centered care, and many other things. Welcome
NO pushing only 1 path: Harm reduction doesn’t push any particular path or way, rather it supports a person where they are at. We will not tolerate an attitude that one way is the only way.
Abstinence is not a requirement: Abstinence from substances is not a requirement to get support, help another, have help with housing or food, or anything else for that matter. Abstinence is not an end goal unless a person chooses.
MAT services: No one can give medical advice on this platform, even in private rooms, as we have no means of verifying qualifications. Do not tell a person when they should “be off” of mat.
