Processing Diversity Safe on Clubhouse

Description

Supporting members whose communication and\or processing style may find it more difficult to interact, share their value, and feel welcome. Topic diverse Mission statement:
To create rules and requirements that will be followed by anyone who wishes to moderate a room within this clubhouse that supports communication & processing diversity. Those rules include but are not limited to:
1. Access to a visual outline of the information being presented,
2. Built in pauses after each communication,
3. Regulated exchanges of speakers, by moderators, that everyone gets the time they need to respond fully,
4. Any and all aids available for visually or hearing-impaired participants.
5. Educational\informational rooms that are built for interactive exchanges will be done in two parts allowing the participants to have enough time to be able to be processing the information for responding. ( 2 hour rooms that are split between 1 hour of Q&A from the previous week and one hour of new information)
6. Limited people the stage at any one time (excluding moderators) 3 people and moderate.
Pause Before Responding/Wait to Speak: To support people diverse processing and communication style we ask that when someone finishes speaking that everyone pauses, gathers their thoughts and wait to be called in to speak.
Stay on topic : Respond on Topic no Sales pitch. If you wish to switch to a different topic when called to speak please create permission with Moderator & limit yourself to one topic introduction or response.
No Interrupting,speaking over or Abusive interactions : We are not a popcorn style club- clarity & respect of the speakers is paramount. Disagreeing must be done respectfully and everyone gets to get their full thoughts out & be finished before new speaker
