Live Quran Recitation on Clubhouse

Description

Rooms will look like one reciter as a speaker and the audience will be listeners. It is different from rooms with multiple reciters or recitation correction rooms. There is less interruption.

Do you recite Quran? Maybe a page a day? Or are you planning to undertake a complete recitation of the entire Quran this Ramadan?

Start a room and let people benefit by listening to you. When naming a room feel free to include the chapter you are reading from and which of the qiraat you are following.

Personal tip: cover your phone while you are reciting so you are not paying attention to who’s listening ;)

It’s an amazing thing to be exposed to different voices and different qiraat (different official ways of reciting). My Quran teacher (my dad) said something to me once about how he appreciates listening to the different qiraat (the ones he is less familiar with), because it’s like a taste of how it must have felt for ppl to hear the Quran the first time.

Some benefits to it being live:

*real-time spontaneous motivating notifiers of people remembering God around the world

*you care more about doing the Quran justice by reciting well and it strengthens your focus/mindfulness and even if you mess up and only find out or realize later, the recording doesn’t get saved

*i mean it was always live, before recording tech existed

*get over performance anxiety with practice

One speaker per room 🗣: Turn off hand-raising if you are the reciter.
