Description
The immune system is a powerful and complex decentralized array of highly dynamic specialized cells. Its functions extend far beyond fighting invading viruses and bacteria, playing roles in many processes, from combating cancerous cells anywhere in the body to pruning neuron connections in the brain. This club will host discussions on how we can tap into the immense potential of this system by engineering immune cells as living drugs to prevent and treat infections, cancer, inflammatory disorders, and aging.
