Description
Hollywood screenwriter J.P. Lavin guides a group brainstorm in which we will create and structure a blockbuster-movie story in under an hour! Join the fun every Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Pacific.
The goal of this club is to get used to thinking about movie structure in a fluid way, so you’re not stuck in the mud while creating.
We’re going to create an outline for a big blockbuster movie aimed at audiences 8–80. Examples. Jumanji. Indiana Jones. Guardians of the Galaxy. Mission Impossible franchise.
So big, fun, relatable characters where we’re using a lot of imagination. Think, would a third-grader like this story? Would someone be compelled to call their friend and say—wow, this was so much fun, you have to see this?
