WHAT IS ANTHROPOLOGY?
Anthropology studies the complexity and diversity of human and nonhuman life in an interconnected world. In this club, we offer discussions on anthropological theories and methods, as well as topics including urban anthropology, globalisation, media studies, consumer culture, archaeology, social movements and activism, development and humanitarianism, and race, gender and sexuality.
WHO ARE WE?
We are an international group of anthropologists, anthropologists-in-training and artists from the University of Queensland and other global institutions.
WHAT DO WE TALK ABOUT?
Well, we talk about everything. Climate change! Race! Gender! Social issues. Artistic expressions of ancestral memory. History. Our desired futures.
