Statistics around the world show that roughly 1 in 5 children are sexually abused before the age of 18.
90% of those children are abused by someone they know, trust, and even love.
More than 60% of children who have been sexually abused do not tell anyone - ever!
Talking about child sexual abuse is difficult - even impossible - for many people.
It is THE LAST TABOO.
This Club will help create awareness about child sexual abuse and how to prevent it.
It will also help survivors begin the journey of healing.
CONVERSATIONS ABOUT CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE CAN BE TRIGGERING - so please make sure you take care of yourself and reach out for help if needed.
This Club is an initiative of DIL SE, an Indian-based NGO, and supported and moderated by an amazing group of people who came together to rid the world of this pandemic.
