PAMUHACHA 🌳 ~ Muhacha/Muchakata/The hissing tree is one of the trees considered sacred in Zimbabwe. It is a big tree with ever dark green leaves and oval fruits. The Shona people of Zimbabwe used to believe it would provide food for them in case of drought and even had rainmaking capabilities!
Pamuhacha is a meeting place to discuss all things pertaining to us as Zimbabweans:- Culture, Our dreams for the future, Sharing Ideas, Governance, Healing, Connecting, Contemporary issues etc. Imagine you are under the tree with your family and friends drinking maheu and eating mutakura with conversation flowing easily.
