THE WAVE OF MY PEN

Steve Rogers had his Plane,
Diana has her rope,
Old Captain had his shield,
And Oliver has his Bow.

Barry has his speed,
And Thor has his thunder,
Bruce Wayne has his cave
And Cisco has his lab.

Clark Kent has his strength,
Okonkwo has his pride.
Even Katty has her snow,
And the Great Showman his show.

I may not be a super hero,
Nor ingenius with the science,
I might not have the bow and arrow,
Nor swing a shield or sword.

I may not be like Captain Jack,
Nor wave a wand around.
I might not be as strong as Hulk,
Nor wave like Doctor Strange.

These ones though great and strong and brave,
Can stand no chance before my eyes.
I might be faint and weak and frail, unlike those named above
But I their master will remain, I’ll take them down, no stress!!

I waved my hands and gave them life,
I gave them powers too.
I gave them brains and strength and Charms,
I gave them purpose too.

I can take it all away, at just a wave you see.
They wave their wands, I wave my pen,
Let’s see who tells the tale.
They shoot their powers, I put pen on paper,
Take all their powers away.

They think they are strong and wise and great,
But I am greater still.
My secret weapon so efficient,
I wave my pen and quill.
