🔎 Wathnak is a registered clinical counsellor and psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a private holistic approach clinician for his private practice in Australia. As the first registered ACA Khmer speaking counsellor and psychotherapist in Australia, he has many years of experiences providing clinical services for people from all walks of life, especially from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. As a graduated from the top 1% university worldwide, the University of Adelaide (UOA) and the most prestigious counselling specialised university in Australia, the Edith Cowan University (ECU), Wathnak is a strong believer in using evidence-based treatment. In order to provide high-quality counselling services to his clients, Wathnak uses many different approaches include person-centred therapy (PCT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and behaviour therapy (BT).
