Matt Von Roderick has performed with some of the most respected names in jazz including Brad Mehldau, Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez and Nneena Freelon. Matt Von Roderick has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and has appeared on Saturday Night Live and The Ellen Show. MVR has also performed numerous times with best-selling author and spiritual activist Marianne Williamson. Matt was named 1st place winner of The Independent Music Awards Jazz Category as judged by the iconic Lou Reed and a finalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, and possesses an eclectic and broad spectrum of musical possibility.
