Vince Leibowitz is a writer, historian, and political consultant. His works include “A Solemn Hour for Texans Everywhere: How News of D-Day Came to Texas.”
He currently serves as Chief of Staff to Texas State Rep. Terry Meza. His previous political work includes serving as Communications Director for Sen. Royce West’s US Senate Campaign. Vince has worked on more than 40 political campaigns in nine states.
He lives in Columbus, Texas and is currently in his third term as a member of the Colorado County Historical Commission. As a Commission member, he is responsible for securing a historical marker for Etta Moten Barnett, one of the most important Black women of the 20th Century. She was born at Weimar in Colorado County.
