PROFESSIONAL STORY
From running reception, sweeping hair and grabbing coffees for guests, a 15 year old boy took his first real job as Receptionist very seriously at Blu Salon in Edgewater, NJ under the tutelage of Melina James. Thirteen years passed, management roles were bestowed but it was time to leave the nest.
2013 - Present
Salon Manager and NYFW Event Producer (2013 - 2016) / Beauty Business Development Manager (rejoined company in 2020) of @cutlersalon and Mentor for emerging talents to gain advanced education, cultivate a strong sense of style/workmanship while setting them up for future financial growth and career longevity.
My parallel career path in event production focuses on fashion runway, B2B tradeshows, and A-list celebrity-driven charity events, fundraisers and parties.

Show Production Manager role at @brandassembly / @reassembledshow in the Tradeshow Division, where our team led by @hillaryfrance conceived and executed large-scale B2B fashion tradeshows in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Paris.

November 2017 - April 2019
Selected to spearhead the business development of the North American debut of Dutch legacy salon company ROB PEETOOM. Upon opening, worked as Acting Operational Manager at the Brooklyn flagship location before moving on to other projects.
2016 - 2018
Additional event highlights include assistant work Madonna’s “Raising Malawi” fundraiser auction at Art Basel in 2016 with Josh Wood Productions, which raised over $16 million to fund schools and healthcare/hospital centers in the African nation of Malawi.
Additional NYFW runway fashion show production credits include Zimmermann, Claudia Li, Tadashi Shoji, Parsons School of Design and more. Production companies include Shades of Grey, Judith Rice, Trew Productions, and more.
