Hello all! I am a Fashion designer out of Albany, NY with an afrocentric aesthetic. Though I have that aesthetic, I enjoy creating any sort of garments for any size, age, and gender.

I started my journey in fashion back in 2008, when I enrolled in college at AIU- Atlanta, and I majored in fashion design and marketing. My journey through college wasn’t easy nor pretty, and I didn’t start reaping benefits until 2015. I wore this beautiful yellow dress that I created to a networking event, and ever since, my career has taken off in my local town.

Everything I create is completely made by my hands, and I don’t have plans on using a manufacturer/mass- producer. I enjoy being able to start something from a sketch and making it into reality, and seeing the joy on the customers face when it’s finished is so indescribable.

My favorite fashion documentary is the one of Gianni Versace. The one thing I remember is how Gianni did not want to create more than 1 of the same garment, and I am the same. When you wear Va’Ceia Designs, you won’t see anyone else in your garment, and that’s the beauty of ordering with me.
