Bio

Artist, Creative Catalyst, Community Outreach Director for Eastern Shore Art Center.
Art as a healing force, have worked with those impacted by tornadoes, hurricanes and cancer. It’s a passion of mine after seeing an art therapist work after the Northridge Earthquake.
Speaker, writer, loves teaching creative thinking.
My students range from 3-103 and have worked with those with all different abilities ( not disabled, I prefer “ differently abled”)
Lead an innovative program I designed called Senior to Senior taking High School Art Club seniors into assisted living facilities to have a multi generational art experience. Promotes socialization and improves mood in residents as well as provides valuable service hours for high school students.
Environmental art, teaming up with biologists and paleontologists to teach students together on projects.
Art educator awards; state of Alabama, locally (Mobile,) also environmentally ( two Gulf Coast Guardian Awards from NOA, as well as locally).
Illustrator, two books so far.
Art held in private collections, including hospitals, businesses and private collectors.
