I believe that storytelling has always been an important tradition in most of the ancient cities known for their civilized culture such Cairo, Samarkand, Bukhara, Delhi, etc. Being a resident of Old Delhi and belonging to a lineage that has lived in Delhi since centuries, I grew up hearing intriguing tales about this city and in this growing age of technology, when such beautiful traditions are disappearing fast, I try to use this same technological boost to keep them alive in my city and across the world through Unzip Delhi, which is my attempt to showcase a visual documentation of the history, culture and traditions that make up the necropolis metropolitan city of Delhi.
