In 1996, Umri gave up is career of business in Computer Science to start a career in teaching. Teaching is his calling and teacher by passion began his career as a teacher in Presidency School, Bengaluru.

Over his 25 years career, Mr. Umri has been recognised as Highly Effective and Expert Teacher. He was awarded REX Karamveer Bronze in 2017 and Silver Award & REX Global Fellowship for 2019 instituted by International Confederation Of NGOs (iCONGO) in association with United Nations (UN) for my contribution as an Educationist and Social Entrepreneur.

He has designed, setup and administered schools and presented training courses to School Management, Heads & Teachers at International School levels. He has devised an innovative methodology for improving education by engaging NGO's, Parents, Educators and Youth from Corporate World. Energy, describes his lasting capability. Mr. Umri specializes in Ancient Methodology, Gurukul system of education and also integration of Ancient Concepts into modern education using Technology as a platform.

Currently Mr. Umri is the CEO of Direct Opinion Consultancy and Co-Founder-Academic Head of
Al-Mizan International School, Amaravati. He is also on Panel of Markazi Taleemi Board, Jamat-e-Islami Hind as facilitator cum trainer.
