Also, I am obsessed with genealogy ๐ค & determined to trace as far back as I can. ๐ฑ The storytellers of my family were long gone before I hit puberty and REALLY gone by the time I pondered the question โWhere am I actually from?โ ๐ค
Through DNA testing with a company called African Ancestry, I know I am 99% Cameroonian ๐จ๐ฒ (specifically of the Bamileke Tribe) on my motherโs side! However, I was unable to trace African ancestry on my paternal side. My results were 100% European - Spanish ๐ช๐ธ & Portuguese ๐ต๐น specifically.
So now I want U.S. documents, proof, records... definitive evidence for as far back as I can go. ๐ต๐พ Ultimately I would LOVE to find the ๐ข so I could trace the voyage.
