Also, I am obsessed with genealogy π€ & determined to trace as far back as I can. π± The storytellers of my family were long gone before I hit puberty and REALLY gone by the time I pondered the question βWhere am I actually from?β π€
Through DNA testing with a company called African Ancestry, I know I am 99% Cameroonian π¨π² (specifically of the Bamileke Tribe) on my motherβs side! However, I was unable to trace African ancestry on my paternal side. My results were 100% European - Spanish πͺπΈ & Portuguese π΅πΉ specifically.
So now I want U.S. documents, proof, records... definitive evidence for as far back as I can go. π΅πΎ Ultimately I would LOVE to find the π’ so I could trace the voyage.
