I've been releasing the Water, Life, Climate, and Civilization series on the Muse Ecology Podcast. A common thread has been that when we protect and restore ecological and hydrological function, we will see atmospheric healing as well. I just released two panel discussion episodes on the topic to end the series. The show notes have links to papers discussed.

In addition to the work of both Professor Millan Millan and Walter Jehne, also check out the scientific work of the folks at Rain4Climate and what the folks at GreenWaterCools.org are up to. Biodiversity For A Liveable Climate has a good compendium on their website as well. The recent IPCC report was also clear on the direct effects of land use change and vegetation cover on weather and climate, independently of excess carbon. And a UNEP July 2021 Foresight Report calls for a paradigm shift along those lines.
