Founder / CEO of Langley Esquire, a public affairs company in downtown Tokyo. Author on Japanese politics and former Secretary in the Japanese parliament. Previously General Counsel at Apple Computer and General Motors in Japan. Active in the ACCJ — started the Diet Doorknock in 1995, more recently focused on digital infrastructure; interested in tech, energy and healthcare. An old hand at facilitating coordination between companies and the Japanese government. Fan of sailing and working on old cars.
