🥳My most recent screenplay is the top heist/caper comedy of the quarter on The Black List!

📄Chasing Paper: After her life and family are destroyed by a famous origami artist, a young woman recruits her childhood friend and an unlikely team of strangers to get revenge.

It’s original, fast-paced, funny, and emotional with a diverse & inclusive Asian-led cast.

I wanted to explore the heist genre, but find my own unique way in.

Story-wise, ensemble heists like Ocean’s Eleven start with the crew leader already a master criminal. But how could I tell a story of the leader with no criminal history ending up planning a heist?

And I wrapped the story around characters you haven’t seen before.

I started running 15 years ago. Since then I’ve run 8 marathons, 10 half marathons, and a handful of 10k’s and 5k’s. I’ll never be fast enough to BQ, but I enjoy running. I get in roughly 40 miles a week, in the mornings. Yes, actually, it IS hard getting up early. Especially on Saturdays.

I acted in high school and college. A few years ago I refocused on it. Started taking classes again. Then auditioned for local theatre. Got to be Mellersh in Enchanted April at the Newport Theatre in the Fall of 2019. Then, in January 2020, I started submitting for on-screen roles.

Yeah. Not great timing.
