Francisco “Paco” commands a wide range of experiences as a human resources trainer and facilitator, which has taken him from the sidewalks of the South Bronx to the boardrooms of the corporate investment community.
Paco holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Iona College. He studied and is a successor to Roshi Bernard Glassman, one of the pioneers of Engaged Buddhism that has spread from the US to Europe and other countries.
He is an ordained Buddhist priest in the Zen Peacemaker Order; and is a member of Southern Circle based in Bern, Switzerland; and is on the board of directors of Peacemaker International. Paco Roshi, as he is known, is a Zen Master and the founder of the Hudson River Peacemaker Center-House of One People in New York.
He has been a strong advocate for educational equity and has been vocal and active in promoting charter schools in the inner city as a means of achieving this goal.
He is committed to the success of young people and gives generously of his time and teaching to many.
Doing well and doing good is not a contradiction.
