Babatunde Tikare is passionate about ensuring accessibility and affordability of health both developing and developed countries.
He practised as a medical doctor in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom,working across various hospitals as a clinician.
This has given me a perspective of health that includes understanding the social determinants of health and their roles in improving health outcomes and to appraise health system efficiency effectively . I have prior experience managing health projects covering child survival Z
My core competencies include: Child acute care management Training of healthcare personnel , Evaluation of acute paediatrics and general practice programs, Epidemiologic data collection and analysis, and team building within a health care framework .
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Olabisi Onabanjo University,Ogun State Nigeria, and Master's in Health Policy,Planning and Financing degree from the London School of Economics . I also hold a Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
I have attended the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health,Boston Massachusetts for an Executive Programme in Leadership in Health Systems .

We must change that narrative and deliver quality and affordable care to every child. It’s doable . It’s possible in our lifetime .
