PREMADE WIGS v.s. GLUELESS WIGS

What is a glueless wig? What are the differences between a glueless wig and a premade wig? You may find yourself asking these questions. Allow me to help you out 😁

Premade- These particular units are made from factories overseas & they get shipped to the buyer and typically installed by a stylist. Factory made units can last a few months to 2 years depending on the quality and how the unit was constructed. When customers get premade wigs installed , they usually use adhesives or tapes to secure the unit. I always reccomend to allow a professional stylist apply any adhesives and or tapes to avoid any damages to your natural hair!

Glue-Less wigs- These Units are made by a sewing machine. In order to make a glueless wig , there are specific measurements required to successfully consider it a glueless wig for your customer. The Collins Wig Collection provides 100% fully customized glueless units meaning the knots on the lace come bleached and the lace is also pre-plucked. We use raw chinese hair to achieve these beautiful wigs. Our glueless units are guranteed to last up to 3+ years with proper maintenance and care. The main Pro to having a glueless wig is being able to safely apply and remove the unit without ripping or damaging your natural hair.
