I have been writing poetry since she could pick up a pencil. But I started performing at open mic nights in Houston in 2010. Many know her by her poet name Kompozition. I find inspiration in life and in the lives of those around me. While music is structured with rules, I enjoy the freedom of poetry and breaking those rules. I served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. I served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq in 2005-2007.
Yoga came into my life and really saved me from myself. Ptsd is a universal issue that should be addressed and cured.
