I was told in a jazz room that my speaking voice sounds like Sonny Rollins.🎷😁
In The New Jazz Listener room, Changamiré, one of the hosts, included me in a group on stage that she called “jazzheads.” What an honor! 🎺 🎶🎧

I have been researching my family history since the 90s. I have a brick wall with my GGG Grandmother, Rachel (maiden name unk.) Coleman. She was born in NY City in 1809 and died in 1884. Rachel’s mother was born in NY and she may be my connection to the American Revolution. Rachel shows up in the 1850, 1855, and 1880 censuses and in some New York City directories in the late 1850s in early 1860s. She is listed in the directories as a nurse and as, the “widow of Thomas” and a few years later the “widow of John.” Rachel has a granddaughter, Cornelia Webb, which suggests that Rachel may have had a previous marriage. It is possible that Rachel is related to Revolutionary War vet, Thomas Bunting.
