Bio

As a native New Yorker, I was born a pretty fair talker. I gravitated toward the performing arts. Naturally, I went to Amherst College and graduated with an English degree, while focusing on theater and film.

Summer seasons were spent at the Weston Playhouse in Vermont, polishing my acting chops.

Taking the well-travelled path of those with acting ability, but with few other marketable skills, I opted for law school and headed to Emory University, in Atlanta. I maintained my creative spark by becoming a company member of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and later of the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington.

After finishing law school and passing the bar exam, I practiced law firm in DC, working on environmental cases and later criminal matters. To satisfy the theatrical call, I MC-ed and announced for several national and local organizations, narrated for television, acted in short films and industrials, and voiced award-winning audiobooks.

I communicate messages with dedication, care, intelligence, and when needed, a sizable dose of humor. Collaborating with other imaginative people to achieve a shared vision makes me quite happy.

My Broadcast Quality Studio is equipped with Source Connect and I’m able to deliver audio files directly to you and your clients through WeTransfer, Hightail, Dropbox, Google Drive, another FTP, or e-mail. Phone links can be set up, and your engineer can remotely control my inputs, if you’d like.

My recording booth is a VocalBooth.com, and my microphone locker includes a Neumann TLM 103, an Audio-Technica AT 875R, and a Rode NT-1 - Mike Joly Engineering Modification. Using Mogami Gold cables through a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 audio interface, I use PreSonus Studio One Artist as the DAW and I polish the sound with iZotope RX7.
