👩🏽‍🌾Food and Climate Justice in Zone 10b:
I am a gardner and Urban Farmer formerly on Hawaiian Land, currently on Tequesta/Mikossuki land. I have found tremendous healing power in returning to the land. Growing our own food and soil is the nexus for a people powered solution to food deserts, climate change, the preservation of our local ecosystems, mono-cropping and an integral part to building up a future our children deserve.

🌍The aim is: Everybody eats! That means we can connect with anyone through food and everyone is inherently deserving of nourishing meals and a healthy, fulfilling life.

🐝 I have been beekeeping for 4 years with Combcutters and view this work as a crucial piece of the puzzle. We have 40+ hives in Miami & Clewiston. We believe in the healing power of bees and are in tune with their communal hive structure. At Combcutters we are most impassioned by the opportunity to teach about our favorite pollinators. We can communicate anything through bees and often teach STEM, history and more from their perspective!
