A poet, an author and an avid proponent of New Media Diplomacy and Human Rights. Essentially a mere human that writes. A zealous student of Contemporary Religions, fluent in 7 languages including Telepathy and Sarcasm. I love telling stories and I tell them well.

‘Birdsong’ have much in common with human language. This may also explain our inherent love for a good tweet. Bottlenosed Dolphins have impressive auditory memory systems. Multiple variants of Apes make use of opposable thumbs. They also love to put up a show and enjoy an audience, may that be a “Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV”. Some species see in the dark while some have finessed the art of camouflage. It’s an intriguing and extravagant world that rewards niche and prowess. One may ponder, what gives us humans, the distinction to claim to be the most gifted beings...

I believe the answer is “The Superpower Of Storytelling”

While the extraordinary minds of science figure out whether the universe is made up of quarks, strings, waves, or god particles, i subscribe to a slightly different theory. A theory that claims that “The universe is made up of Stories”. A theory that celebrates storytelling as the native language of humanity.

Bill Bufford said “Stories … protect us from chaos, and maybe that’s what we, unblinkered at the end of the 20th century, find ourselves craving. Implicit in the extraordinary revival of storytelling is the possibility that we need stories -- that they are a fundamental unit of knowledge, the foundation of memory, essential to the way we make sense of our lives: the beginning, middle, and end of our personal and collective trajectories.”

Over the years, I have learnt diligently and acquired most of the skills that complement storytelling in today’s hyper-connected world.
