🎶 Dedicated to all things microtonal music. 🎹 Multi-instrumentalist, YouTuber, composer, performer, theorist. 🎸 I play most instruments in microtonal equal temperaments from about 5-40 or so. 🎤 Sevish and I started the podcast Now&Xen together, and I also do some Sevish covers on my channel. Discovered the combinatorial connection between intervallic step sizes and pitch class sets. Wrote the emoji album (https://stephenweigel.bandcamp.com/album/-) which raised $1K for BLM and crashes iTunes

One thing I do is to use microtonal keyboard layouts! Not just for songs, but I also provide the fingerings for different equal temperaments by selecting a few main scales. I arrange repertoire for keyboard such as Easley Blackwood’s microtonal etudes (on my Patreon account, which will get back to making Now&Xen episodes after 60: https://www.patreon.com/nowandxen).

Since microtonal music doesn’t get enough attention, I’m also eager for people to take advantage of my microtonal guitars! In equal temperaments: I have a 15edo, 17edo, 19edo, 20edo, and 22edo. They’re all acoustic except the 20edo.

Future projects include educational videos on microtonality, such as a video about how to notate every equal temperament, homages to various channels in stylized videos (like 12tone), explanations of new techniques, and series with Paul Erlich on regular temperament theory
