Laurie Baum often calls India home, where she's worked with multiple international organizations. Laurie has held positions as International Executive Director: ALL Ladies League, Global Ambassador: Women Economic Forum, International Programs Director: Rising Star Outreach, Director of Special Events: Days for Girls International and as Professor of English Communication and Life Skills: Rai University, Ahmedabad. Laurie's role in these organizations has helped foster economic progression, social entrepreneurship, community advancement, women's empowerment, and youth leadership skills.

Laurie is the author of 'Doing Business in India' an illuminating guide to the fundamentals of doing business in India as well as bridging the cultural gap, providing a deeper understanding of India's business relationships.

Laurie is an India business culture consultant, offering cultural training to minimize cross-cultural mishaps and misunderstandings for foreigners doing business in India. She is a communications advisor, content strategist, and content writer for Indian companies bridging cultural communication gaps in business communication and marketing content.

Laurie is a social entrepreneur and actively involved with organizations that develop and implement solutions for social and cultural issues. Laurie is a founding partner of Global LifeVision, a life skills implementation program and has taught workshops in Kenya and India. Laurie has worked in India with Days for Girls International empowering women and girls through sustainable menstrual care solutions, health education, and income-generating opportunities. Laurie was invited by Operation Underground Railroad, a global organization, rescuing children from sex trafficking to speak at a conference of NGO leaders in Malaysia and has taught life skills to survivors of sex trafficking in Thailand.
