▪️Honored with several awards for my directorial debut (which i also produced and co-wrote), last 2 from San Diego Film festival in 2018. Best Debut Director & Best Global Cinema. Presold to TRT.
EXPERIENCE:
Acquired more than 10 feature films and developed them from story to distribution as President of Development & Production-Local Acquisitions for MEDYAVIZYON. With its existing Film Distribution network (Golden Compass, Grudge, Hotel Rwanda, Halloween, DISTRICT 9, Paranormal Activity) and TV Channels (i.e. MTV Turkey, Nat Geo) MEDYAVIZYON was one of the major studios in Turkiye. I launched the production department and doubled its market share within a year with projects like Beyaz Melek/White Angel (directorial debut of a folk singer) The film shocked the market as the second high grossing Turkish film in 2007. Was acquired by me from screenplay.
