Sam has his PhD focused on “concrete waterproofing admixtures & durability” from Western Sydney University. He is currently working as one of the Directors of Chem Concrete in Australia (www.chemconcrete.com.au).

Sam is also a Co-founder & Director of ANJ Co. He is also a Member of Board of Directors and Waterproofing/Durability Consultant at Ozen Structures Consulting. He has also been working as the Director & Research Director in the Concrete Lab of ANJ since May 2010. Sam has over 15 years of experience working in concrete industry and is highly experienced in concrete technology, concrete waterproofing, manufacturing, team building, contracts & construction law, leadership, business development, operation, negotiation, budgeting, marketing, strategy development, product development, and R&D supervision. His greatest strength and passion is “Concrete Waterproofing Admixtures & Durability”.

Sam has a solid collaborative experience with leading experts from both industry & university in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Malaysia, China, Middle East, etc. He has more than 50 publications including 7 books (related to concrete waterproofing/durability), which have been cited for over 1700 times by different researchers around the world (h-index of 24). Over 80% of his journal publications have been published in SJR-Q1 (Top Quartile) journals and the rest 20% in SJR-Q2 journals. For two consecutive years (2020 & 2021), Sam received the "Award for Excellence on Publication" from Western Sydney University. He’s currently serving as a Guest Editor for "Environments" journal (SJR-Q2) for the second volume of Special Issue: "Environmentally Friendly Geopolymers".
