Hi there! I’m Shantel! I’m that small town girl that has always had big dreams.

I’ve always been passionate about the arts, spending as much time as I could creating, singing, acting. I’m at my best when I have a creative outlet. It felt natural to be styling hair once I started at Toni & Guy in 2007.

I’m an empath with a huge heart! I love that my passion for hair also does so much for others. I do my best to create a one of a kind experience for those in my chair.

Co-Owning Platinum Salon with my best friend has been a dream come true. The last 5 years we’ve put our all into our business. We have create a beautiful, uplifting salon with team of amazing stylists. I hope to grow our business even more in the years to come!

Behind the chair, I love doing Blonding and dimensional color techniques. May-October you can find me most weekends on location styling brides! I love doing updos and formal styling. I enjoy styling hair for photoshoots and would love to make more time to do that. Currently continuing education in makeup artistry. At this point in my career, I’m feeling the need for growth, or more direction, more inspiration to take bigger leaps!
