Before 2013, my husband and I struggled with housing and making our monthly payments. We have 4 amazing kids that we needed to provide for. When my husband was injured at work, we had just enough savings to pay all of our bills but we had nothing left for food. So everyday for 2 months we walked to the soup kitchen. We were very grateful for the hand up but we knew it was only temporary.
2013 was the tipping point for our family. We had faith we were going to learn something different. We saved money as a family and 2 days before Christmas 🎄 we bought out first investment properties 🏚. It was a full rehab, so on Christmas Day our family was cleaning 🧹 trash and debri out of the house. We have since bought and sold many properties with different types of strategies and creative financing. We include our whole family in all of our investments properties at all levels.
I became an agent in 2018 because I was frustrated that many I talked to didn’t “speak investor”. I fill that need and the majority of what I do is working directly with investors. We still own the very first house and it still cash flows!
