A Chief Champion Officer, Selina Meere has spent more than 20 years as an advocate and cheerleader for the products, people and companies she represents. At Park Place Payments, Selina is building a reputation first and foremost as the company's brand is reaching national recognition. A boot-strapped fintech start-up, she is up against large budgets and teams competing in the same space. Under her marketing leadership, Park Place has gained attention from national press, women's and leadership conferences, and won awards for its growth, customer service, and impact. And in 2020, it has grown its customer base by 55% while also providing an income opportunity to the many Americans who have been sidelined in their careers.
Before joining the Park Place team, Selina was an executive in New York’s book publishing industry, holding executive positions at Workman Publishing and Penguin Random House. At Workman, where she built a full-service in-house agency, she created bestsellers and built brands without the deep marketing dollars of her competitors in both the book publishing industry and other entertainers fighting for the same consumer dollar and time. She holds a Masters Degree from City University in London and a Bachelors Degree from Gettysburg College.
