Bio
For the last 25 years I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist, a certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and a supervisor through (IAEDP), a certified intuitive Eating counselor and work from a nondiet, weight inclusive lense using a Health at Everysize (HAES) approach.
I am the author of the book The Eating Disorder Trap: A Guide for Clinicians and Loved Ones and the host of the podcast The Eating Disorder Trap Podcast.
I have been an expert in The New York Times, Vogue and the Huffington Post.
My practice is in Los Angeles, CA and I see kids, teens and adults with body image challenges, eating disorders and medical Issues.
I started my career at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in cardiology.
