Frederico P. Silva on Clubhouse

Bio

Frederico Silva is a Mozambican seasoned entrepreneur and individual investor in the field of technology.

He is currently the co-founder and CMO of appload, a logistics marketplace based in Mozambique, and the founder and CEO of Talento, a company focused on diversified solutions for talent acquisition.

Frederico has recently sold his stake at UX, an internationally aclaimed ICT4D company, recognised for its work in job creation, financial inclusion and e-government. His 7 year role as UX's co-founder and CEO, includes establishing today's largest online recruitment platform (emprego.co.mz) in Mozambique, and further expanding it to Angola and Greece.

During the last 5 years, Frederico has been a catalyst for the use of technology for social development, through numerous appearances as a speaker at events such as: TEDx, ICT4D Conference (Kenya), ICT4D Symposium (Zimbabwe), WorldBank - GPSA (Washington D.C), Afrobytes (Paris), among others.
In his professional career, he acted as a country manager at LG Electronics and accumulated over 7 years experience in sales and marketing working for companies such as MultiChoice and RioTinto. Frederico holds a BBA in Marketing Management from the IMM Graduate School of Marketing, South Africa.

Frederico acts as a contributor to business and economics publications such as Economia&Mercado and Diário Económico. Frederico is part of the WorldBank's Youth Advisory Group (YAG), a fellow at the Mandela Washington Fellows (YALI) and ranked in the Choiseul Africa 200(Institut Choiseul).
