Dr. Ram Behin is a seasoned leader in the Investment Banking space and advice the Board of Directors on strategic decisions and train the Directors on critical thinking. Dr. Ram is expert in Mergers and Acquisitions [M&A] and Capital raising in EMEA and Asia. Dr. Ram served as a member of Executive Committee and a Director of Business & Strategy in Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai directly managed the P&L of AED 250 million with the VIP doctors of more than 100 and worked towards business expansion and revenue enhancement strategies. Dr. Ram was heading the Project and Commissioning activities of a AED 150 Million project in Universal Hospital, Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Consultant of an Australian consulting firm TAHPI, he was heading the Policy making business in Middle East and worked for Sharjah Healthcare City, Health Authority Abu Dhabi, Dubai Health Authority and Ministry of Health.

Dr. Ram has successfully launched a private equity firm in DIFC and the Senior Executive Officer for the same [License: Cat, 3C - regulated by DFSA, Dubai]. Dr. Ram has experience in Dubai Financial Market and Nasdaq Dubai and Securities and Commodities Authority and Dubai Financial Services Authorities. He has expertise in financial regulatory compliance viz. FINRA. Dr. Ram has 15+ years’ business and investment experience in Middle East & Asia. Dr. Ram is highly analytical and worked with Royal family offices and Institutional Investors on both sell side and buy side mandates. Ram served as a Board member / Non-Executive Director of healthcare companies in GCC and Asian companies.

Dr. Ram is a serial Entrepreneur and a Startup Mentor and assisted numerous Entrepreneurs in business strategies, bootstrapping and fund raising. He is advising tech startups, including fin-tech, health-tech, agree-tech, consumer-tech, and edu-tech. Dr. Ram conducts researching about Royal Family Offices Investment Strategies, Activist Investors and Hostile Acquisitions.

Dr. Ram is a medical graduate and holds MBA in Hospital Management from Institute of Health Management Research (Bangalore, India) and another MBA in Corporate Finance from Cass Business School, City, University of London (London, UK). He also completed Executive Education programs from London Business School (London, UK) and The George Washington University (Washington, USA).
